The Time I Learned that Being Small is OK

Fall 2020 ?????? Fourth Grade

One day, my mom, dad, and I ?went on a boat trip. My sister was not born yet. I was 3 years old. Then we entered the boat.

??I said it is so boring,?? but then I got sleepy. When I was going to fall asleep, the captain asked if I wanted to drive the boat. I said ??yes.??

My mom said, ??Yes you can go.??

I went to the front of the boat. I sat on the captain?s lap then he helped me steer the boat. It was so fun. The captain walked me back to my mom and dad.? I fell asleep.

My dad said to me. ??Kyler you feel asleep for 2 hours.??? I said, ??No daddy. You are lying,?? then my dad said, ??No, you actually fell asleep for 2 hours.?? I believed him.

We arrived at the place.? We went to eat lunch. The lunch was so good. My mom and dad went to check in to the hotel.? We checked into our room then we went to the water park.

The water park was outside the hotel. The hotel was the owner of the water park. We went to the big water slide. The person did not let me go on the big water slide. She said, ??You are too small to go on the water slide.??

I got angry.? I stormed away to a different place in the water park.? I went to a big place with a lot of water slides and the place had a big bucket. The bucket would get filled up with water.? When the water was at the top of the bucket, the bell would ring.? The water in the bucket would fall out. Everyone would sit in front of the bucket five minutes before the water was going to fall out. Everyone will get splashed with water. The people that sat in front of the bucket would get splashed first because the water would not have to travel as far to the people.

I went to get showered because my mom told me because we were going to have dinner at a mall nearby.? We arrived at the mall. The mall was big. We went to the restaurant and we had a feast. The dinner was so good then we went to buy a big toy. For me, it was my dream toy. I was so excited to play with the toy.

We went back to the hotel.? We opened the toy box so I could play with the toy. It was so fun to play with the toy. I loved to play with the toy. The toy would light up and the toy would also talk. I said, ??It?s the best toy in the world.??

The next day we went to the cafe. The cafe was in the hotel. The food at the cafe was exquisite. ??It was the best food in the world,?? I said.

We went back to the room to get in our swimsuits so we could go swimming.? We went to the pool. The pool was big then I said, ??Mummy can we go to the water park???

My mom said ??yes,?? then we trotted along the sidewalk.? We arrived at the water park. I went to the same place I went the day before. I went down one of the water slides. It was excellent. It was the best day of my life. I went to the wave pool with my mom and dad. We got a big thing to sit on. I screamed ??ahhhhhhhhhhhh,?? because the wave was coming.

We went up to shower because we were about to leave the hotel.? My mom said, ??Go to the kid?s club. We?re leaving in one hour,?

I said, ??Where is the kid?s club??

My mom said, ??It is on the 3rd floor.?

We arrived on the 3rd floor.? I said, ??Wow it is so cool and big!!!?? I entered the kid?s club. It was amazing. I saw a ball pit. I went to the ball pit and it was amazing. Someone started to talk to me. He told me his name was Tommy then we became friends.

We went to a bigger ball pit. I had to go so I said bye to Tommy.

My mom said, ??Come on Kyler. We have to go or we will be late for the boat ride back home.??

I ran to the elevator where my mom was waiting for me. We stepped in the elevator and the elevator would bring us down to where my dad was standing.

We went to where my dad?s car was. We went to the restaurant to eat lunch then we drove to the boat. We got on the boat. My dad has two houses at different places in Thailand so when we arrived his driver drove his car to where my dad sent the location.

When we got on the boat, the driver drove the car back to our other house. The reason why we did not go to my house was because we wanted to try something new. The boat left the harbor. I fell asleep. Two hours later we arrived. My dad had his other driver bring another car so we could go back home.

Being small is not always bad if you have a good imagination and have the willingness to do something else?s then being small is not that bad actually.
