Snowy and Sunny

First Grade Summer 2021

Today we went outside. Our cat followed us outside. My name is Snowy and my little brother?s name is Sunny. We are going to the farm. We are gonna watch the hens lay their eggs then we will collect the eggs and bring them home.?

We will surprise our mom with fried eggs made from us. We took out the pan. Our dad wants to help us too. Our dad turned on the fire. We crack the eggs in our pan then we stir it. Dad cooked the eggs then he put it down on mom’s plate and we put it on mom?s table.

Mom was at work, so we decided to call mom to come home because we had a surprise. Today when we heard mom?s car, we hid. When mom got home, she saw the food then we went ?Boo!?

Mom said, ?Ahh! What is that?? Then she walked closer to our fried eggs that we made. When she saw the food she said, ?Fried eggs are my favorite.?

Then she looked at us and smiled at us. Then she asked, ?Did you do this for me?”

We said, ?yes? and she said, ?thank you? then we hugged.?

Then she said, ?I have something for you too.??

?What is it?? Snowy said.?

She told us to look in her bag. We looked in her bag and there were gummy bears! We love gummy bears! Then we realize something. Today was actually mom’s birthday!
