Mary

This is Mary. She was mad at her friend Maddie. Her friend played with her enemy. So she ignored Maddie. And played with another friend named Molly. Her Mom told Mary not to be mad because her face is red like her dress. And that made Mary even madder. Soon steam came out of her ears because she was so angry.

The next day everyone heard about how she was mad at her best friend. So everyone called her mad Mary. Then Cool Cody came and told her, “Keep cool Mary. We are all friends.”

“I don’t need friends,” said Mary. Then she walked away.

The other kids got together and played tag. They laughed and smiled. Mary watched her friends play tag. And she was sad. But she was still angry at her mom.

When her mom came to pick her up, she came with a surprise. It was a puppy! Then suddenly she felt happy and hugged her mom.
