Goodbye Italy
Goodbye Italy

I took a trip to Italy and l landed yesterday. And for dinner I had the most delectable food I have ever tasted, and the restaurant was called Macchio. We ordered a lot of food.
My first dish was pasta. It was delicious. I got it al dente and that is the best type. It had a tomato sauce that was also made with herbs and rosemary. We also ordered a large pizza. My mom ordered a latte as a beverage and my dad ordered wine as a beverage. My brother and I ordered Italian soda. We also got a salad with seasoning.
There was a big space so me and my brother could run around after asking the restaurant staff, so we played tag and came back to the dinner table.
After that, we ordered a ton of desserts including Tiramisu and Gelato. We drizzled the Tiramisu with honey and the Gelato with blueberry sauce. After that we paid the bill which was $900 but we understood why.
After we went back to our hotel, we were fed up and fell asleep. The next day me, my brother, my dad and my mom had waffles and syrup for breakfast.
After that I went to walk around to admire Italy and my town square where my hotel is at. I went to a shop and bought two glass vases to give to my parents. After the purchase I ran back to the hotel to give the vases to my parents. They were thankful that I bought them the vases. But later my parents told me that this was our last day in Italy.
Later in the evening, I had my final dinner at town square. We packed up and drove to the airport. As we got on our plane, I wanted to thank my parents and Italy for letting me have fun. As we started rising on the runway, I cried. I said in my mind goodbye, Italy.
