There once was a dragon. He was fierce and deadly. There was a spark in his throat that helped him burn down villages. He was despised by humans. The villagers think that he?s a dirty animal and always eats people. But he was not that kind of dragon.

The Dragon wants to change what the villagers thought of him. Every now and then, he leaves gift baskets with fish and other stuff, but they never appreciate it. Day after day, he leaves them gift baskets when they go to sleep. They will never ever know who?s been doing this and they never will.

His name is Charcoal the Dragon. He?s black as night and friendly as anyone will ever be.

Much later, after many wars with the king?s troops from the village, he got very sick and less forgiving. The troops put poison in the lake where he drank water out of. Slowly, he started getting sicker and sicker until. . . he gave up on life.

?Life is pointless once you can?t do anything,? he mumbled.

His voice echoed along his cave?s walls until a little girl came skipping into his cave looking for something.

?Mr. Dragon, are there any truffles in your cave??? she said curiously.?

?Yes, there are five over there,? he said.

?Thank you, Mister Dragon,? said the girl.? ?Wait you?re a dragon!?

?Yup, you got a problem with that??.

?No mister dragon,? she said ?by the way, what?s your name mister dragon?

?Charcoal the dragon,? he said.

The little girl looked around in Charcoal?s cave she saw the baskets that are being left at the village ?so you?re the one who?s been leaving gifts in the village, right?? said the girl

?Not anymore. Since the village people don?t know who it is. They still think I?m worthless, nothing?
