Sleepover

Spring 2021 2^nd Grade

One day there was a little girl named Mindy. She was eight years old. She got to have her first sleepover. ?I am so EXCITED!? said Mindy.

30 minutes later. ?Oh Mindy, guess who here?? said Mindy?s mom.

?Who?? said Mindy. It was Mindy’s friends. ?Oh hi guests, isn’t this exciting??

?Yea,? said Rebecka. Mindy?s friends put their sleeping bags on the floor. Mindy?s best friend is?Ann. She is amazing at gymnastics.

?Hey, let’s play tag,? said Josh.

?Ok,? said Kim. Kim was Mindy?s little brother and Kim has to be with Mindy or Mindy will get in trouble because Kim is only four years old.

Rebecka, Olive and Bella did not want to play tag. ?Tag you’re it,? said Bell.

?Dang it,? said Josh.

25 minutes later. It was 6:30 pm. ?Time for dinner kids!? Mindy?s mom said. All of Mindy?s friends, Mindy and Mindy?s brother Kim went to the kitchen. They got lasagna for dinner.

Mindy?s friends and Mindy and Kim ate dinner. And they played a little bit. They played the quiet game. It’s when you try to be quiet and the first person loses by talking.

The winner was Jay. ?YAY! I win!? said Jay.

All of Mindy?s friends and Mindy and Kim walked to their sleeping bags DING DONG!

?Who is it?? said Kim.

It was three of Kim?s friends ?Hi.? said Kim. Kim?s friends Jake, Lea and Jon put their sleeping bags on the floor and Kim?s friends went to bed and Mindy?s friends went to bed.

The next morning, Kim and Mindy?s friends woke up at 8:30 in the morning. They had breakfast.

After breakfast, they brushed their teeth. All of Mindy?s friends and Kim?s friends packed their bags and then their parents picked them up.

?That was a fun sleepover,? said Kim and Mindy?s friends.
