The Black Sails

It was a clear windy night on my ship. I am captain of a small ship, alone in the middle of the sea. I was standing on the top deck by the steering wheel when I first saw them.

First it was a small dot in the distance but as it got closer, I saw that it was a ship. I thought the ship was friendly but I was wrong …a skull on a black flag.

On the side of the ship was a painted knife and the Captain looked like he was a killer. I steered my ship toward their ship until I saw that they were not friendly. They were attacking every ship that they see. Their crew all had knives in their hands and the Captain had a revolver. They kept their weapons on them ready to attack.

I tried to look for more details when the Captain turned sideways and looked right at my ship then ordered an attack. It raced toward me! My ship was much slower than their ship. He easily captured my ship but I got out alive on a small rowboat.

I don?t want to relive that memory, but I wanted revenge. I went hunting after them. And I was going to kill them.

I saw a wanted poster of their Captain. It said the bounty 10,000 gold pieces. Now I knew they were causing trouble and I was going to stop them. I found a revolver in the dust with a note from the Pirate captain that said, ?Dare to catch us or not?? It had a painted knife on the back of the paper so I knew the Black Sails were confident. They wanted me to find them.

But how can I fight two ships full of pirates by myself? I will need to hire a crew. But where will I get one, I thought to myself. At that point a lightbulb dropped on my head. I have an idea. I can get one on the island of death.

Many people have died trying to get the orb of creation but if I get it, I can create anything even a crew! There are booby traps leading to the orb so I must be careful even if I make to the orb, it must deem me worthy or I will be turned to stone. If the orb glows it has deemed me worthy, but no one has been worthy for 1000 years.

I know where the booby traps are because I studied them once in an old book. I need to follow the map created by the Ancient Gods. I followed the ancient map until the map changed words. I could no longer read it. It was blank, the only words visible was ?You are on your own.?

I was worried that I was not worthy because the map became blank. I decided to run back but snakes were blocking my path. The only choice now is to get the orb. I ran as fast as I could to get away from the snakes chasing me.

Then I saw something glowing. I ran towards it and I found a shiny yellow orb. I touched it and nothing happened. I thought I could use the orb to defeat the Black Sails, but I need to sacrifice something that I need.

I sacrificed my ship for the orb and got my wish.

I suddenly appeared at the beach where no one was found, and I asked for a crew of twenty – 10 sharpshooters and 10 musclemen. I also asked for the orb to send me and my crew to the Black Sails. They were surprised and we caught them. We brought them to the authorities. And the hunt was over.
