A Trip Into Space

One day I was in my house watching a television show about space and I thought about what it would be like to go to space so I decided to sign up for NASA. I researched how to join NASA.

I started training at NASA. The first thing I did was go underwater with a space suit so I can feel low gravity. Then they put me on a machine to sit on and the machine would spin so I could feel zero point gravity in space. Next, I was assigned to ride the space shuttle.

I climbed into the space shuttle. I felt nervous. The countdown started. I felt the rockets rumbling, then the shuttle began to shake and then I started feeling us taking off. I was sweating. It was scary because the pressure was really high. Soon we were in outer space.

All the stars shined bright.?? All the pressure was gone and my body started to float. We were heading toward the space station. We saw the space station and contacted them to began docking, then we started to connect to the docking dock and then soon we landed at the international space station.

I exited the shuttle and as I was exploring I saw my best friend and I floated to him and said hi to him. He said hi back. We floated around to explore the station. It started to get late so we floated to our beds, strapped ourselves down and went to sleep.

I loved it there were beds but they did not look really comfortable but everything else was so cool! I floated around to explore the station.

The next day I woke up and floated fast toward my friend?s room but he was not there. So I went to check in the main room and then I saw him.

I floated toward my friend and said ?good morning? to him. He said ?good morning? back to me. We flew to a cafeteria to get our breakfast. I picked waffles but with no syrup because I knew that the syrup would float around. My friend also picked waffles, but he brought a bottle of syrup so when he was eating the waffles he would also squirt some syrup in his mouth at the same time.

After breakfast we had to go into outer space so we floated to grab our space suits. We put them on and went outside and entered a space shuttle. Then we flew to the moon. We explored the moon and collected a few stones. It was almost time to go back to the space station so we decided to spend our last few minutes going outside and collecting moon samples to bring to earth. We floated into the shuttle and flew back to the Space Station.

I spent a week in the space station doing all sorts of experiments with zero gravity. I soon had to return home, so I packed my samples and floated into the shuttle then flew back to earth. When I was back on earth, my friend and I decided to watch Star Wars and talked about our trip to space.
